The Bible
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105)
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, having the same nature, attributes, and perfection.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future personal return in power and glory.
(John 1:1-14; Luke 1:26-38; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 19:11-16)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers for godly living and service. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and gives spiritual gifts to believers for the building up of the Church.
(John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
Humanity and Sin
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam's disobedience, bringing physical and spiritual death. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are separated from God. Salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:1-10)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ. It is not achieved by human works but through repentance and trust in the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Titus 3:5-7; Romans 10:9-10)
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, composed of all true believers, and in the local church as the visible expression of the Body of Christ. The Church is called to worship God, nurture believers, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.
(Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-47; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 2:9)
The Ordinances
We believe in two ordinances instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ:
Baptism: The immersion of believers in water as a testimony of their faith and identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.
The Lord’s Supper: A commemoration of Christ's sacrifice, to be observed by believers until His return.
(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Christian Living
We believe that Christians are called to live holy and blameless lives, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Believers are to love God, love others, and share the Gospel, fulfilling the Great Commission.
(Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 2:20; Matthew 22:37-39; Matthew 28:19-20)
Spiritual Warfare
We believe in the reality of Satan and spiritual warfare. Believers are to resist the devil through the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of Scripture.
(Ephesians 6:10-18; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9)
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom. He will judge the living and the dead, and His reign will be eternal.
(John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15)
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal separation from God in hell. Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all who have been redeemed by the blood of Christ.
(John 5:28-29; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 21:1-4; Revelation 20:11-15)
